• I can say what “AI” means in one sentence

  Software that generates language or media from patterns — helpful, fluent, and sometimes wrong.

• I know one official assistant on a device I already own

  ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Meta AI, Siri / Apple Intelligence, or the one on your computer.

• I bookmarked the real site or app myself

  I did not get there from a random Facebook ad or an email “support” link.

• I have completed one small, checkable task

  A list, a rewrite, a recipe, a summary of something I already knew.

• I can revise an answer instead of starting over

  “Shorter.” “Kinder.” “Only use what I pasted.”

• I never paste account numbers, passwords, or one-time codes

  Postcard rules.

• If it matters, I verify on an official page or with a person I chose

  Especially money, health, legal status, and breaking news.

• I will not take a diagnosis or an investment order from a chatbot

  Prepare questions; keep licensed humans for decisions.

• My family has a code word and a call-back rule

  Hang up. Call a number already in the phone. No gift cards on a first call.

• I know where to report a scam

  reportfraud.ftc.gov and ic3.gov, plus my bank.

• I have a one-page personal plan

• I will ignore most AI headlines and notice a few
