About & trust

Waypoint is an independent plain-English publisher. The job is orientation, not hype.

Editorial policy

When we cite a market fact — who uses chatbots, how people feel, what regulators warn about — we use named public sources such as Pew Research Center, AARP Research, the FTC, and the FBI. We mark opinion as opinion. We do not invent testimonials, fake scarcity, or miracle outcomes.

What we will not claim

We will not promise wealth, medical results, legal outcomes, or job guarantees. AI assistants are useful drafts. They are not doctors, lawyers, brokers, or family.

Privacy

This preview stores checklists and a simulated purchase flag in your browser. It does not send your email to a server. A live Waypoint list would be opt-in, unsold, and easy to leave.

Refunds

Intended live policy: 30 days, no scavenger hunt. This preview cannot charge you, so it cannot refund you.

Accessibility

Body type is sized for reading. We use Atkinson Hyperlegible and a serif for titles, high contrast on cream paper, and skip-to-content. Audio versions belong on the post-revenue list, not the launch-blocker list.

Legal review

Before paid ads: privacy policy, terms, refund language, and a pass on Meta personal-attribute rules. Health and money chapters should be reviewed if we ever expand into productized advice — which we should not.

Founder materials — ads, emails, economics, the 30-day plan — live on the launch desk.
